QC / QA - Introduction
The production of PRIME PIPES & FITTNGS is on the base of ISO 9001 quality system. The system control includes:
- quality test and control of row material and part
- in-process control and test
- process control
- inspection and test for final product
Raw material: MFI, Density and TENSILE TEST etc.
Pipe and Fitting: following tests are done according to ISO / BIS / DIN standards
- Appearance
- Opacity
- Dimension, wall thickness and tolerance
- Mechanical characteristics(resistance to internal pressure)
- Physical and chemical characteristics
Longitudinal Tensile Strength
Thermal stability by hydrostatic pressure testing
Impact resistance
MFI(compound, pipe and fitting)
- Hygein characteristics : taste / odour
- Internal pressure and Thermal cycling test for the joint assemblies

TESTING EQUIPMENT & TESTING FACILITY |
| |
| |
| 1. Melt Flow Index ( MFI ) Testing Equipment |
In order to ensure the high quality of PRIME pipes & Fittings,
the melt flow rate (MFR) of the raw material is strictly tested before processing according to the requirements of ISO. |
| |
| |
| 2. Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Equipment |
| To ensure optimum long life performance of PRIME pipes, pipes are subjected to extensive hydrostatic pressure testing at a variety of different pressures and temperatures. |
| |
| |
| 3. Impact Strength Tester |
| In order to ensure good impact resistance for PRIME pipes, the impact resistance property of all dimensions of-pipes are tested. This test ensures that PRIME pipes can even withstand impact of external pressure. |
| |
| |
| 4. Environmental Stress Crack Resistance ( ESCR ) |
| This test ensures that PRIME Pipes & Fittings can withstand different environments. |
